🌱 Natural Farming Giant Harvest: 4kg Organic Butternut Squash

Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing one of the highlights from this season's garden. We finally opened the organic Butternut squash (Anco) I’ve been tracking, and the results were amazing: it weighed in at exactly 4 kilograms!

It was quite a challenge to crack open because of its thick skin, but it was well worth the effort. Inside, the flesh is firm with a deep, vibrant orange hue. Today, the family and I will be enjoying a portion of it steamed—the best way to preserve and appreciate its natural flavor.

I still have one more in storage and the very last one is still on the vine. Based on their shape, I believe they are the "Anco Batata" variety. However, due to the cooler summer temperatures this year, they didn't quite reach their peak sweetness. Regardless, there is nothing like the quality of home-grown organic produce.
