🌱 Natural Agriculture: Making Mandarin lemon cuttings
Hello everyone! Welcome once again to space. How are
they doing?
The citrus rooting process, such as for the
tangerine lemon, is a fascinating way to propagate
your plants. To begin, select a semi-woody branch
and make a clean cut. A crucial step is to carefully
remove a small section of the green "skin" of the
stem, exposing the cambium (the tissue that
transports nutrients). This will stimulate root
formation.

Place the cutting in a container with water
(filled to about one-eighth of its capacity) and
ensure the container is covered to maintain
darkness, as this promotes root germination in
citrus. It is a process of patience; although
the exact time can vary, keep the water clean
and the container protected until you observe
root development. Consistency is key!
