A special find on my walk: The Glory Bush. Spanish version - Version Español

🌱 Natural Farming:

Today I'm here to share some news about this photo I took during my walk. It's a plant with leaves that are incredibly soft to the touch. Its scientific name is Tibouchina granulosa, though it's more commonly known by its vulgar names: Cuaresmero or Glory Bush.

I love it because it blooms at this time of year, with that intense bluish-violet color you see in the picture. Plus, these flowers attract many bees and bumblebees. It's curious to watch them, since we are in the middle of autumn and almost no flying insects are seen, unless it gets hot or the afternoon is mild. It's a little oasis for them!

¡Chears and Happy Farming!

Well, I'll say goodbye for now. Until the next post, where I'll tell you news about the Californian red worms and the appearance of the first rice plant in the greenhouse. Big hug!
